MLB 07 The Show

MLB 07: The Show delivers online baseball action the way it should be. The franchise now introduces the all-new Road to The Show mode, enabling gamers to play both offense and defense from the created player's perspective. With the Adaptive Pitching Intelligence (API) feature, catchers will call the game based on the individual strengths and weaknesses of each pitcher as well as analyze tendencies of batters. Gamers will now have the ability to either trust the pitches called by the catcher or shake them off. Online League Play offers customizable leagues with up to 30 teams, complete with full stat tracking, point benefits and rewards. The My Sliders feature allows users to create their perfect game settings and upload them to the MLB 07 The Show server for others to try out.
Customer Review: It's a great game!
Though initially a little frustrating for me to learn how to properly hit and pitch (the first game was not a pretty score), eventually this has become one of my favorite games. It's pretty lifelike for PS2 graphics. Almost all aspects of the game are thought out.
Customer Review: Fantastic baseball game
This game is one of the best baseball games I have played over the years. It has a great presentation that feels like you are actually watching a real game. The announcers are right on and do not feel canned and corny. The game mechanics are solid and the game is polished and very close to real. My son loves this game and we play often and enjoy this game more than any other on the pc2.

I always look forward to baseball season. My love of baseball goes back to my childhood. I grew up in San Benito,Texas, in the Rio Grand Valley. We did not have much winter weather so we usualy played baseball year round. The closest pro team was the Houston Astros, those ugly uniforms. We went to see them several times at the Astrodome, worst ballpark ever built. But every summer I would go see my grandparents in St Louis. My Grandfather was a big Cardinal fan and I became a Cardinal fan at a very young age. I can remember the sound and smell of old Busch Stadium as if it were just yesterday instead of 30-40 years ago. I always remember my Grandfather ordering a "short beer" from the beer man, when asked why he called it a "short one" he said cuz it only lasts a short while. My favorite players were Lou Brock and Bob Gibson. To this day when I play the lottery I pick 21 and 45 in their honor. Bob Gibson was such a competitor, I remember after Bill White was trades to the Phillies, Bob Gibson threw a fast ball high and inside to brush him off the plate, Bill White was upset and asked Bob Gibson why he did that after being team mates for years, Mr Gibson told him you are on the other team now. I always admired the way he played. His record is not as good as some players in the Hall of Fame but then the later years of his career he played for some very bad Cardinal teams.

Today I live in Springfield, Mo. which is the home of the Cardinal AA minor league team the Springfield Cardinals. The sounds of the game are still the same. Everytime I hear "BEER Here" or "ICE COLD BEER" from the beer man , I think of my Grandfather at old Busch Stadium and a "short beer". Maybe its the game I like to watch but then again maybe its the memories that make me look forward to baseball season.

Hey we are still in 1st place. GO CARDS

Baseball Season - Its Almost Here!

Customer Review: Poor Learing Tool
I took this course on line and this is not the textbook to use. A few of the chapters were very poorly written and the subject matter hard to follow. Some of the problems were so mixed up and time consuming to solve, that the time I spent digging out the pertinent information needed to solve the problem, could have been used to learn the material and acquire a better understanding of it as well. Also the 11th Edition and the 12th edition is the same book, and thus many of the problems were the same except for the dates used. It is really a shame that colleges do not do their homework and give the student a break financially ($ 100.00 dollar difference or more.) There is no reason for them to demand the students to purchase a newer version when the older version would have sufficed. With the 12th version I would strongly recommend to purchase the accompanying Student Guide. This was well worth the money. (I am sure it could be used for either version.)
Customer Review: Didn't enjoy this book
I normally don't post reviews but I just finished up using this book for a class and highly dislike it. I think the reasoning with how they illustrate problems is confusing and terms are mixed up with bold or plain print. My professor even said he did not like this textbook and wished there was a better choice out there. I thought the homework was good but there were some points that it didn't make sense at all. My biggest pet peave had to deal with the Economic Ordering Quantity stuff in chapter 20. I read the chapter twice and still didn't understand the function of EOQ. I eventually found a powerpoint online which explained it. I think this book has potential and obviously the amount of time invested with the supplementary material is amazing. Regardless, I think there still needs to be more work done on this book. Good luck using this book in your class wherever you're forced to use it.

I have always been a huge baseball fan so whenever a game was on I would have to drop what I was doing and turn it on, especially if my team was playing that day. The playoffs had come and I was told I had to work full shifts all week because others had taken there holidays to go see the World Series while I worked.

It has now been over a year with this software and I am extremely happy with it because not only can I watch baseball online I can watch any sport you can think of because it has over 3000 channels which is way more then I have ever had on my cable TV.

Watch Baseball Online - Watch Major League Baseball Online

The software I use is called TV for your PC and it has been awesome for me but it is not free there is a small one time fee of $49 dollars but once you have paid this you have it free for the rest of your life and this is huge if your as big of a baseball fan as me.

I had thought about taping the games but I knew my friends or family would tell me what happened way before I could even watch a taped game and I didnt want to miss a single one due to work. So I got on the google search engine and looked up watch baseball online and sure enough I found a software for your computer that allows you to watch live baseball online so I went ahead and got it.

If your reading this your probably looking for a way to watch baseball online and your in luck because I am going to tell you exactly how I managed to watch baseball online last year when the playoffs were on and I had to work all week.
